Vodacom CEO clarifies position on BlackBerry

On 12 September, Vodacom announced a series of steps to improve the customer experience by increasing network capacity and reducing congestion.

DStv Mobile Ghana has launched a new mobile television decoder, the Drifta, which enables subscribers and non-subscribers to access DStv services anytime, anywhere on many more devices in Accra.

Vodacom launch security feature to preven fraud

Vodacom has been experiencing an increase in the number of fraud incidences that were due to International Revenue Share Fraud (IRSF). In this type of fraud, a syndicate steals handsets or SIM cards from victims and uses them to dial international premium numbers which could result in cellphone bills as high as R120 000.
