ATM Operation in Africa: Issues with Banks and traces of fraud

I desire to start this discussion because of personal experience with major Banks in Nigeria. Imagin a situation where an ATM Card user needs to draw money from another Bank's ATM terminal, most times the user's ATM card is retained by the machine for reasons known to the Bank.

From my most recent experience, the "mega Bank" operating in Nigeria would tell you, "sorry, we cannot give you the card, we will send it to any of the branches of the Bank that issue the card" Does this tell good of "Technology Enabled Society". Your contributions would be appreciated.

Well this happens in order to dissatsfy the banks coustomer.So that you cut your relationship with your bank and move on to other bank. But this is just not acceptable that they drag a coustmer from one pole to another. Just imagine if the same happens with an international coustomer and where is he supposed to get the card from and his entire tour plan will go for toss !!

Banks needs to realy treat coustomer much better in oder to retain there loyality.

yes , i think this is just another way of drawing customer or client from other bank,but Professional Marketing should not be that way;
